THE odds are on the weather winning again tonight, as the Peacocks prepare to face local rivals Tiverton Town in a rescheduled Evo-Stik League game at the Viridor Stadium (7.45pm).

The original match was called off on January 2 because of a waterlogged pitch and the signs are that tonight's game is likely to go the same way.

The bottom corner of the Viridor Stadium pitch resembled a lake on Saturday following continual heavy rain and although the situation has improved, the surface still remains saturated after yet more rain today.

A 9am inspection has therefore been arranged for tomorrow morning to make an early decision.

Town have not played for over a fortnight since their win at Burnham but the Devon side has seen even less action, having fulfilled only one fixture since Boxing Day due to a clutch of postponements.

The Peacocks will have the same squad on duty that would have met Didcot last weekend, meaning the absence of Matt Villis and Rob Farkins but the return of midfielder Dale Evans.
