WELLINGTON'S new look young side put in another good shift in the rain at the Playing Field last night but were beaten 7-2 by a more experienced and robust Oldland Abbotonians in the Toolstation Western league.
Both Mark Clunie and Nicky Ford tested Oldland keeper Shane Mason early on and he pulled off two good saves.
However the Bristol side ran the game in the first half and went into the break 5-0 up.
Wellington enjoyed a better second period and they rallied as Jamie Dingle scored early and Sam Bryant added another in the last five minutes.
