MIKE Hawes has been appointed first-team manager of Wellington for the 2013-14 season.
A statement issued by the club said: "Mike – who is currently Secretary at Chard Town – joins us at the end of the current campaign and brings with him a wealth of footballing knowledge and experience in both operational and administrative terms.
"We hope that Kevin Hazeldine and Scott Holland (interim managers) will remain part of the First Team management structure and a further announcement will be made in this respect in due course."
Hawes is a former Wellington player and has also managed the club's reserves.
As well as being Chard's secretary, he has also managed the club's under-18s this season.
