WELLINGTON manager Mike Hawes says his side ‘should fear no one’ after they recorded a third straight Toolstation league victory with a 2-0 win at struggling Portishead on Saturday.
Second half goals from Olly Nott and Chris Duckenski sealed the points for Wellington in a scrappy contest – but Hawes was pleased to see his side grind out a result.
He said: “We didn’t play that well first-half in particular, but the win puts us back amongst the main group in the league.
“We’ve won three in a row now and beaten Ashton who are going well, so we should fear no one in this league.
“We’ve got two away games coming up, but after that we’ve only got something like six or seven left all season, so we’ll have a good run of home games.”
Tomorrow the Tangerines visit Almondsbury UWE in the league (3pm).
