YEOVIL Town have announced that Luke Ayling has signed a new two-year contract with the club.

Ayling, 20, who can play in defence and midfield, has so far made 92 appearances for the Glovers.

Now he is set to make a lot more after putting pen to paper with Glovers boss Gary Johnson.

"I'm delighted to announce that Luke Ayling has agreed a new two-year contract with the club," Johnson told Yeovil's official website. "There has been interest in Luke throughout the season, but he is enjoying his football here."

The signing of Ayling follows on from this week's earlier news that Gavin Williams and Ed Upson had also signed new contracts with the Glovers.
