Taunton opened the batting and put on 194 all out with opener and skipper Simon Manley top scoring with 40.
There were other knocks of 22 from George Hallas, 25 from Tom Blackmore, 23 from William Abell and 30no from Joey Rose.
Bishopston opener Phil Ollerenshaw top scored in reply with 61 while Dave Willett hit 38.
David Cross (3no) and Sean Heal (0no) were there at the end of their 45 overs with Bishopston locked on 194-9 - just one run short of victory.
Top Taunton bowlers were Chris Speed with 3-39 and Matt Dare with 2-27.
