FORMER King's College pupil, Jos Buttler has been named in the ICC World Twenty20 team of the tournament alongside three England teammates.

Buttler, who hails from Wedmore, was named alongside Jason Roy, Joe Root and David Willey after England finished as tournament runners-up.

Roy, Root and Buttler, were included as batsman, with South Africa's Quinton de Kock taking wicketkeeping duties, and were only surpassed in the run-scoring charts from the Super 10 stage onwards by India talisman Virat Kohli, who was named captain of the ICC's XI.

Buttler ccored 191 runs at a rate of 159 and clubbed 12 sixes, including three in the final.

Left-arm seamer Willey finished as the joint-leading wicket-taker with 10 scalps, alongside New Zealand pair Mitchell Santner and Ish Sodhi, who misses out to fellow leg-spinner Samuel Badree of the West Indies.

Badree, whose figures of two for 16 put his side on the path to victory in the final on Sunday, and all-rounder Andre Russell are the Windies' only inclusions.

Australia's sole representative is Shane Watson, who announced his retirement from international cricket midway through the tournament, while India's left-armer Ashish Nehra takes the number 11 slot.
