Taunton Deane Cricket Club has received support from the England and Wales Cricket Trust Grant Aid Programme.
The England and Wales Cricket Trust has announced that Taunton Deane has been awarded a grant towards its ground development project.
The EWCTs grant aid programme aims to finance capital projects, including renovations to improve facilities which contribute to sustaining and increasing participation.
Taunton Deane CC was identified by the Somerset Cricket Board and by the ECB as a club of strategic and developmental importance due to the grassroots game.
The club has been awarded a grant of £15,000 towards the cost of a two bay synthetic practice area which will boost their practice facilities. The total project cost was about £25,000.
