GOLF: Minehead's Bethany qualifies for prestigious tournament
BETHANY Baker 13 from Minehead has qualified for the prestigious English Golf Junior Abraham Trophy, a five day event in Cote Golf Club Warwickshire in July.
Bethany, who plays for Minehead Golf Clubs and Tiverton golf club and who also plays For Devon Girls.
She has also qualified for the English Girls National Under-15s Championship also at Cote golf Club in July.
Bethany, who has a handicap of 17, who has been playing golf for three years, was recently awarded a scholarship at King’s College, Taunton where she will join her brother Jordan who is a member of the Somerset Under-15 cricket squad.
