TAUNTON Titans return to Hyde Park on Saturday for their second home game of the season when they take on some people’s tip for promotion, Canterbury, at 3pm.
The Titans, who have made an impressive start with three wins from three, select from a full squad with only a couple of bumps and bruises acquired from last weekend’s physical battle with Old Elthamians.
Last season Taunton managed to come from behind to pip Canterbury 38-34 so a close game is expected.
Head coach Tony Yapp is anticipating another physical encounter and will not be taking Canterbury lightly even though they have already lost two games.
He said: “They are a well-drilled and organised side. Last year we had to come from around 20 points behind at half-time to win the game late on.”
