THE Castle School sports students completed a very successful term by dominating at the Somerset Games at Millfield school.
The games are the finale for the term where schools get the chance to compete in the finals for the sports they have undertaken in the autumn term.
Castle were well represented at the finals which ran over two days and they finished with an excellent medals tally.
For hockey alone they won an impressive five golds out of ten and had seven teams in the finals.
They won in Year 7 and 11 boys, Year 8, 9 and 10 girls.
This was a fantastic achievement for the students of the school and the success didn’t stop there.
They were runners-up in the Year 9 boys rugby, runners-up in the parallel games competition which is a competition for children with SEN.
The school’s badminton teams were very successful finishing with runners up in two age groups and third in another.
