OLIVER Fox, a student at King’s College, Taunton, has been named in the Great Britain and Northern Ireland team for the Great Edinburgh Cross Country on Saturday, January 10.

The 18-year-old, who also runs for Wells City Harriers and Yeovil AC, has enjoyed a hugely successful 2014.

He has won a number of events including the Under-20 South-West inter-county championships over 1,500 metres, the South-West inter-counties cross country championships and the Taunton 10k.

Now he is off to Edinburgh to compete in the first big cross country event of 2015, which will be televised on BBC and will feature the double Olympic, European and World champion Mo Farah, making his first appearance in cross country since winning the event in 2011.
