TAUNTON light-heavywight Krystian Nadolksi is training hard for his second professional fight at Newport Leisure Centre next Friday (March 13). Nadolski, a former martial arts champion in his native Poland, lost his first fight against Scott Westgarth in November 2013.

But the 31-year-old has come back stronger than ever following a back operation and is looking forward to facing the rangy Nathan Thorley.

Nadolski trains at Taunton Fight Factory and Chris Sanigar’s gym in Bristol.

KERRY Vile of Taunton Fight Factory stopped her opponent in the first round on a show at Chippenham.

Vile was in charge from the bell, knocking the other fighter to the canvas after just 20 seconds.

Her opponent took an eight count only to be knocked down again by a ferocious right hand which prompted the referee to call a halt there and then.

Stablemate Helen Cordes faced a tougher opponent.

But after three high-tempo round rounds of non stop punching from Cordes won a majority decision.

Fight factory stalwart Gavin Swateridge suffered a narrow points defeat.

But 21-year-old newcomer Eddie Lane stepped in at the last minute against a more experienced boxer.

Lane took punishment for three rounds but also caused his man plenty of frustrating by working well inside and his opponent retired at the end of the third round.

TFF's Round Two event is on April 11 at Allstars sports bar in Taunton.
