WELLINGTON School pupil Toby Frearson won two gold medals at the South West Karate Championships in Exeter.
The Year 8 pupil won gold for a group kata and the other for individual fighting.
Toby started karate at the age of five with the SSKA at a club in Wellington.
He worked his way through the belts and got his black belt in 2014.
Toby then moved clubs and now trains twice a week on a Thursday and Sunday with a friendly, ambitious and committed KUGB group in Milverton called the Milverton Red Dragons.
His ambitions in karate are to progress to second Dan black belt as soon as he can, to teach it when he is older and he also wants to take part in more competitions.
At Wellington School, Toby is also in the A team for rugby.
