TAUNTON’S meeting on Thursday, February 11 has been abandoned due to waterlogged ground.
Since Friday, the Orchard Portman course has had 82mm of rain and further 12mm are forecast before racing.
The rainfall now totals 255mm (over six inches) since December 30 and the ground is simply full and unable to cope.
All tickets purchased online in advance will be automatically refunded to the method of payment used.
Taunton’s next meeting is on Thursday, February 23 when they host the Royal Bath and West Raceday and the first race gets underway at 2.10pm.
