QUEEN’S College swimmer Jacob Greenow has travelled to Sheffield this week to compete in the ASA Winter National Championships.

Jacob, who is 17 and lives in Taunton, actually qualified to swim in eight events.

However, he has chosen to compete in six of them over the four-day competition from today (Thursday) to Sunday.

Jacob is swimming in the 100m, 200m and 400m individual medley and the 200m backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly.

So far this year, he has competed successfully at the British Swimming Championships in April, represented England in an international meet in Ligano, Italy, in May and swum at the British Summer Nationals in July.
