Thirty ladies from Taunton & Pickeridge, Minehead and Enmore Park met on Monday at Enmore to compete for the Quantock (Silver division players) and MET (Bronze division players) Salvers.

These three-way match-play competitions, which were first held back in the early 1980s, are normally played over three separate days (one at each club), however this year the first two meetings were cancelled due to heavy snow.

Fortunately the sun shone and following an enjoyable round and a meal in the newly renovated clubhouse Carolyn Blackwood, Enmore Ladies’ president, presented the trophies to the winning teams from Taunton & Pickeridge, who this year won both Salvers.

The T&P team for the Quantock Salver was Louise Worth, Rosie Spragg, Val Hayward, Lennox Heath and Jackie Lynn, while for the MET Salver the team was Heather Crump, Jill Paul, Pat Follett, Sue Walsh and Judy Powell.
