TAUNTON Titans take to the road today when they travel to Bedfordshire to face Ampthill & District in National League 2 (South).

This is the third fixture in a set of four in which Taunton are facing teams above them in the league.

Titans know that it is going to be tough but are full of confidence after last Saturday’s victory over leaders Hartpury.

Taunton picked up a couple of early injuries in last weekend’s game so some changes to the side will be made after fitness tests.

However Titans have received a massive boost in the front row with the arrival of George Cooper – who has returned from his travels in Australia – Kieran Ball and Altan Ozdemir.

Ball is a young prop who has trained with the Titans all year but due to university commitments has been unable to play. Now those commitments have finished Ball is ready to fight for a place in the Titans side.

He has represented England at Under 18s and is hoping to show what he can do a senior level.

Ozdemir is a prop who has played rugby in the South-West for many years. Before moving down to the West Country he played his rugby at Harlequins. He has played for Bristol, Exeter Chiefs and Plymouth Albion and brings a wealth of experience.
