TAUNTON Titans return to Hyde Park on Saturday when they meet Bury St Edmunds in National League Two South, kick-off 3pm.
It is sure to be Titans’ sternest test so far, with Bury having won two of their three games so far and could pose a threat to the hosts’ 100 per cent record.
Last weekend at Barnes, the Titans had nine of their backs unavailable through injury or other commitments and had to reshuffle their selection, although did go on to win 35-27 - their third straight bonus-point victory.
This week they welcome back some of those players and hope that continuity in selection will help the team carry on building and improving.
With players unavailablet Barnes, the Titans were able to offer two players their Titans debut.
Back-rower Ben Oliphant-Thompson, who was Blundell’s School first team captain last season, has put in several fine displays over the weeks and came off the bench for his first taste of National Two rugby.
Oliver Graham started on the wing and didn’t look out of place. He has played for England U18s and was with Bath Academy has joined the Titans to ensure he can improve his game and put himself in the shop window for more representative honours.
