TAUNTON Titans are looking to maintain their perfect start to the National Two South season when they welcome West Country rivals Redruth to Hyde Park on Saturday (3pm).

The hosts have picked up bonus-point victories in each of their four matches to date, while the Cornish side sit fourth and have only lost once so far this season.

Taunton hope to welcome back Gary Kingdom, who missed last weekend's 42-27 victory at Wimbledon, while the influential Nick Mason came through that match unscathed on his return from injury and is expected to feature again.

Redruth, meanwhile, are under new management this season with Pale Nonu and Gareth Tedstone having taken over and the early signs have been promising, with a last-gasp reverse at Barnstaple the only blemish on their copybook thus far.

Recent encounters between the two sides have been close-fought and fiercely contested; last year's match at Hyde Park ended in a high-scoring 33-33 draw, while Taunton earned a 12-8 win in Cornwall.

In 2015/16, the Titans edged home with a 19-16 victory, and all the signs are that another close game is in prospect tomorrow - kick-off at Hyde Park is at 3pm.
