HAVING been beaten by league leaders Chinnor last weekend, Taunton Titans clash with another promotion hopeful as second-placed Cinderford visit the Commsplus Stadium tomorrow (3pm).

The Titans have lost three of their last four matches and go into the weekend’s match eight points adrift of their opponents, so realistically need a win to keep up with the top two.

Cinderford have been beaten just once so far in this campaign - by undefeated Chinnor - and won 27-20 in an enthralling game at Hyde Park in the corresponding fixture last season.

IN tomorrow's other games, Wellington look to keep up the fine form which has taken them two points off second spot in the Cornwall & Devon standings, as they host 11th-placed Hayle at the Athletic Ground (ko 2.30pm).

Wiveliscombe are back after a week off, and they will aim to regain top spot in Somerset Premier with a win over visitors Nailsea & Backwell (ko 2.15pm), while their 2nd XV go to Burnham-on-Sea 2nds.

Wyvern have been forced to call off their previous two matches in Somerset 1, but they are scheduled to host Morganians from Bridgwater tomorrow (ko 2.15pm).
