TAUNTON Titans have a weekend off, with the Six Nations and the Calcutta Cup taking the headlines, but there's still some important local matches taking place tomorrow.

Wellington hope to continue their bid for promotion from the Cornwall & Devon league, as the second-placed side look to close in on leaders Penryn by beating visitors Plymouth Argaum (ko 2.30pm).

Argaum are ninth in the table, and a bonus-point victory for the Red & Blacks would take them top, as they're currently four points behind with two games in hand.

Tomorrow also brings a big game in Somerset Premier, as Wiveliscombe host West Somerset rivals Minehead Barbarians, and there should be a good turnout at the Recreation Ground (ko 2.30pm).

Wivey are third in the table, six points off leaders Gordano and three behind Avon, so they will be looking for a victory to stay right in the mix for promotion.

The Barbarians are eighth, albeit with games in hand on other mid-table sides, and they'll hope to upset their near-neighbours.

Other matches taking place this weekend include Wiveliscombe 2nds v Bridgwater & Albion 3rds (Somerset 2 South), Wyvern v Chard 3rds (Somerset 3 South) and Taunton 2nds v Bournemouth 2nds in the South West Pilot League.

And in the Jason Leonard Under-20s County Championship, Somerset travel to take on Berkshire, at Redingensians (ko 2pm).
