TAUNTON Fillies under-18s travelled to Exeter for an exciting end-of-season game.
They combined with Plymouth to play against a team made up of Exeter and Cirencester girls.
Exeter started much the stronger and took the lead within two minutes of the kick-off following an impressive backs' move down the left wing.

Slowly the Fillies picked up their game and after a sequence of forward drives Abbey Hayes crossed the line in the corner.
The try gave the Fillies confidence and after another good forward drive, Sam Harriman took advantage of some quick hands from the backs and scored their second try. The Fillies went into half-time leading 10-7.
Almost immediately from the restart there was some indecision in the Fillies defence and Exeter scored under the posts to retake the lead.
The Fillies again managed to work together and drive up the field, causing Exeter to commit a number of penalties. With some quick thinking the Fillies scored two more tries, converting one.
Exeter came back strongly and scored the last try of the game, but it finished 22-21 to the Fillies.
