WELLINGTON Rugby Club have reached the funding target for their new stand project.
Taunton Deane Council has agreed to give the club a grant for the remaining £35,000 of the £215,000 project to build a new 200-seat stand and extend the treatment, gym and changing rooms.
The grant has given Wellington a triple boost after two of their sides - the Colts and Under-14s - reached the final of their respective county cups last weekend. For the match reports, see this week's County Gazette.
