TAUNTON 2nds started the season strongly with a convincing win at home to Stapleton.
Batting first Taunton reached 212-3 in their 45 overs thanks to fine half centuries from Mark Jones and debutant Joe Smith.
Taunton's bowlers then set about dismissing Stapleton for 137 with superb bowling by all, led by newcomer James Dakins, while youngster Josh Webb showed what a bright future he has with fine figures of 3-15.
