TAUNTON Netball Club's Quantock side clinched the Division Two title after beating Neptune of Bridgwater this weekend.
Quantock were on fire in the first period, taking a convincing lead of 19-7.
The shooting combination of Jo Haskey and Lucy Parsons has been very successful throughout the season and they proved far too strong for Neptune's defence.

Quantock cruised to 36-15 at half-time and continued, going into the final period 51-23 up.
In the final leg Neptune picked up their game and matched Quantock's goalscoring, but it was too far a gap and Quantock won 66-35. Goal attack Jo Haskey was the player of the match.
Monmouth's last game of the season was against Queensway and they started off very well to lead 10-4 after the first period.
It was a fine team game, with all the players giving 100%. Outstanding in defence was GD Nicole Smith, who dominated the attacking circle.
Monmouth were under no pressure throughout and led 25-9 at half-time.
GA Kate Stubbins supported GS Lynne Stafford well and the final score was 45-21 to Monmouth.
