FOUR byes from the final ball earned Taunton a thrilling victory at Wellington in the first round of the Baker Cup on Monday.
Batting first, Wellington were reduced to 4-2 but a fine knock of 53 not out from Rob Moysey, 30 from Matt Daniel and a hard-hit 19 by Mark Saunders allowed them to post 127-5 from their 20 overs.
In reply, Taunton kept plenty of wickets in hand but never got away and came down to the last ball still needing two to win.

Leg spinner Moysey beat Chris Gange (48 not out) but the ball sped to the boundary to give them victory.
Also for Taunton, skipper Lee Cooper (26) and Matt Bulbeck (34) were in the runs.
Taunton CS Radiac and Outcasts scored 104-8 at home to Bishops Lydeard with Mike Warren making 34. Lydeard reached their target in the penultimate over with three wickets in hand, Justin Heyward top scoring with 40.
Rob Glentworth (91 not out) and Emlyn Kuhn (41) were in the runs for Chard who posted 162-5 at Brompton Ralph.
The hosts replied with 136 all out - R. Chiplin hitting 67.
Taunton Deane B only just missed out on a suprise victory against Taunton St Andrew's. Visitors Saints batted first and scored 158-5, with Deane B only finishing six runs short at 152-8.
Ashbrittle were restricted to 76-9 at home to holders Taunton who made it over the line for the loss of two wickets.
Staplegrove won by 56 at home to Watchet.
In the next round, Taunton entertain Chard and Lydeard host Ilminster, who received a bye. Staplegrove travel to face Taunton St Andrew's and Taunton Deane are away to the winners of Mallards and Fitzhead whose game was postponed this week.
