SOMERSET look to be holding a slight advantage over Surrey as they go into the second day of their vital County Championship match.
Surrey, who are bottom of the table, are 195-8 after being 130-7 at one stage.
Somerset struck an important blow in the penultimate over yesterday when Chris Jones caught Gareth Batty (39) off the bowling of Alfonso Thomas.
