Somerset CCC have issued a health and safety warning to anybody who is in the vicinity of the County Ground in Taunton on Sunday afternoon because master blaster Chris Gayle will be making his home debut for the hosts when they take on Kent in the Nat West T20 Blast starting at 2.30pm.

On Friday evening against Essex, Gayle struck six mighty sixes a number of which sailed high and wide out of the County Ground at Chelmsford and into surrounding properties.

In fact at one stage the umpires had to call for a new box of cricket balls, so many had been lost

The local weather news is that it is showery, but expected to get drier this afternoon- although Gayle Force conditions are expected to hit anytime between 2.30 and 5pm.

Somerset will name their line up from the following squad is - Alfonso Thomas (capt) Jim Allenby, Tom Cooper, Chris Gayle, Lewis Gregory, Tim Groenewald,  James Hildreth, Johann Myburgh, Jamie Overton, Sohail Tanveer, Pete Trego, Marcus Trescothick  and Max Waller.
