SOMERSET County Cricket Club has revealed its new NatWest T20 Blast shirt.

The shirt has been officially launched at the club's press day this morning but five lucky competition winners won the chance to see it before anyone else last night at a special VIP launch.

The shirt is in association with The Real Shaving Company, Somerset County Sports and Tyka.

They were also presented with a shirt by Somerset One-Day Captain Jim Allenby who said: “Everybody is really pleased with the new NatWest T20 Blast shirts.

"It’s been great to have been able to have an input as to the style and design and Tyka our new kit suppliers have gone along with our ideas which is great.

"I’m certainly very happy with the new shirt and can’t wait to go out into the middle wearing it.”

Lewis Gregory who was also in attendance last night said: “The lads all seem to have enjoyed being involved with the design of the new shirt and they have come out really well.

"Everybody is now excited to have seen them and can’t wait to get out there, put them on and play in a game situation out in the middle.

"It’s always nice to have a new shirt especially when we have had an input into the style, colour and design and the boys all like it.”

The shirt design features a star above the Somerset Wyvern badge to commemorate the Club winning the Twenty20 Cup in 2005.

The shirt is available to purchase from Somerset County Sports by calling 01823 337597.
