CRICKET: Buttler sees Somerset home in T20
JOS Buttler guided Somerset to a five wicket victory over Northants in the T20 at the County Ground this afternoon.
Chasing just 138 to win, the Cidermen were never totally in command.
But Buttler took charge with 58 not out in just 39 deliveries before Arul Suppiah (14 not) clinched victory with a four off the penultimate ball of the match.
Northampton struggled early on, especially against the spin of George Dockrell (2-17 in 4).
But they recovered to a defendable total thanks to former Somerset star Cameron White (47 not) and David Willey (30 not)who added 52 for the sixth wicket in less than six overs.
