MARCUS Trescothick was frustrated by the weather in his comeback match for Somerset 2nds against Essex 2nds at Coggeshall yesterday.

The day's play was abandoned at 9am but prospects of play today are better.

Meanwhile the Championship team hope the rain will relent so they can start their four day match against Warwickshire at the County Ground this morning (11am).
