SOMERSET had Pete Trego to thank for their third straight victory in the CB40 competition at the expense of Glamorgan at the County Ground yesterday.

After Chris Cooke had almost single-handedly set the Cidermen a target of 252 for victory with a superb 137 not out, Trego laid into the Glamorgan attack scoring a blistering 81 from just 43 balls.

With Nick Compton scoring 53 and Lewis Gregory 39, Somerset got home with three wickets and 13 balls to spare.
