KELVIN Davies celebrated his most successful season at Vivary Golf Club by taking both the Seniors’ Equinox and Michaelmas Stablefords.
His 42 points in the Equinox was three ahead of Charles Hall and four in front of third placed Pete Jeffrey.
In the Michaelmas, 38 points and a count back was just enough for him to edge ahead of new octogenarian John Hughes who had a fine round playing off 24.
Davies came in with another 38 in the Halloween Stableford but it only gave him third place behind Charles Hall on 41 and a magnificent 42 points from the winner Mike Walpole.
Dai Lloyd won the October Medal with a nett score of 66 and a better back nine than Pete Jeffrey who has the lowest gross score of 75. Charles Hall, consistently among the places, came in third one behind on 67.
