TAUNTON Vale Ladies 2nds drew 1-1 against ISCA 3rds at Exeter University in Premier Two of the West Clubs women's league.

Vale started strongly, showing great composure and passing the ball well, but ISCA were also strong enough to hold off the attacks.

ISCA took the lead but Vale didn't allow their heads to fall. They continued to play well and were creating opportunities although struggled to find the back of the goal.

However their hard work paid off before half time with Vicky perkins converting a 1v1 with the goalie.

Player of the match was goalkeeper Rachael Sharland for some outstanding saves.

Claire Hancock scored six goals as Vale 3rds beat EVCH 7-3 at home in the Central Division.
