TAUNTON Titans showed great spirit to fight back back after a first half hammering but still lost 57-40 at home to in-form Worthing yesterday.
Worthing totally dominated Titans in the first half, running in no less than seven tries, five of which were converted.
The only response from Titans was a try by Jack Claydon.
But the second period saw a complete reversal with as Titans suddenly came alive.
Claydon added a second try while other scores came from Sam Richardson, Gary Kingdom, Tony Yapp and Aron Struminski, all converted by Kingdom.
Worthing replied with two of their own but Titans came out of the game with their pride intact.
