FOOTBALL: Rowley strike secures draw for Wellington reserves

First published in Sport

WELLINGTON Reserves drew 1-1 at home to Heavitree Social United Reserves yesterday.

But they were pushing really hard at the end and it took a blinding save from the visiting keeper to deny Conor Bryant’s flying header.

HSU, who included some first team players, took a first half lead, but James Rowley hit a spectacular and deserved equaliser.

Wellington: Chris Cherry, James Rowley (C), Jamie Fleet, Luke Bryant, Simon Morton, Joe Enticott, Adam Dawe, Sam Bryant, Jack Bryant, Conor Bryant, Nathan Thomas. Subs - Joe Conway (used), Mitch Woodgate (used), Oli Nott (used), Jake Nichol (not used).
