ELEVEN members of the Running Forever Running Club took part in the First Chance 10K at Exeter Quay on Sunday and set no less than five personal bests.

Weather conditions were good for running - very cold with the odd snow flurry but with no wind on a course which is notoriously blowy.

The first club member home was ultra marathon runner Richard Staunton who recorded a personal best of 43m17s.

He was followed by Dave Loader (44m 32s), Tanya Lewis (45m 25s), Paul Thomas (49m 47s), Gary Filer (50m 36s, pb), Malcolm Fiske (50m 45s), Malcolm Hutchings (51m 43s), Tara Robertson (55m 41s), Nadine Prouse (1hr 11s, pb), Liz Williams (1hr 1m40s, pb) and Kate MacKenzie (1hr 5m16s, pb).
