TAUNTON Deane swimmer Libby Mitchell was left frustrated after she was unable to make her debut for Great Britain in Belguim at the weekend.

A total of 48 British swimmers were due to take part in the Flanders Speedo Cup but only four made it to the meet after the team flight was cancelled.

Mitchell is coached by both Karen Worbey at Tiverton and Graham Davidson of Taunton Deane where she won various national medals before moving on to the national performance programme in Swansea.

She is also part of the Taunton team that have reached this year’s Arena National finals.
