LANDLORDS Day takes place tomorrow at Taunton Racecourse with the first of the seven races on the card going to post at 2.20pm.

Prize money of £44,000, with the big race on the card being the Bathwick Tyres Veterans’ Handicap Steeple Chase, at 3.40pm a Class 2 event over three miles which has a whopping £20,000 on offer.

Top trainers Phillip Hobbs, Paul Nicholls and David Pipe will all be heading to Taunton so another great afternoon of national hunt racing looks to be in store for local punters.

A courtesy coach service departs from Taunton Railway Station an hour before the first race picking up at the Bus Station near the town centre shortly afterwards and departing from the racecourse 30 minutes following the final event.

Taunton race again on Monday, March 25 when the first race is due off at 2.10pm, and then on Thursday, April 4 when £100,000 is up for grabs in prizes.
