SOMERSET will today be looking to follow up their thrilling opening victory in the Friends Life t20 when they entertain entertain Northamptonshire at the County Ground (2.30pm).

Northants have won the toss and have elected to bat first.

On Friday the Cidermen welcomed old rivals Gloucestershire who rattled up 190-6 from their allotted overs.

In reply, Somerset lost skipper Marcus Trescothick first ball before Craig Kieswetter smashed a brilliant 89 not out.

Jos Buttler hammered 29 in 13 balls to up the rate at the crucial time before Yasir Arafat hit the winning boundary with a ball to spare.
