PUNTERS have got an exciting seven race card to look forward to tomorrow when the action gets underway at 2.20pm.

The big race of the day is the Bathwick Tyres Novices’ Handicap Steeple Chase over half a furlong short of three miles at 3.50pm, where two local horses Possibly Flora, trained by South Molton based Richard Woollacott and Milosam from the Philip Hobbs stable in West Somerset look to be strong contenders.

All of the leading trainers, including Paul Nicholls, Venetia Williams, Nigel Twiston- Davies, David Pipe, Colin Tizzard and Alan King have horses entered and top jockeys Aidan Coleman, Richard Johnson, Sam Twiston- Davies, Nick Schofield and Robert Thornton are all booked to ride.

With 65 horses declared and a going of good, good to soft in places the conditions look ideal for a good day’s entertainment.

Racegoers are reminded that a courtesy coach service departs from Taunton Railway Station an hour before the off, picking up at the Bus Station near the town centre shortly afterwards and returning from the course 30 minutes after the last race.
