SOMERSET'S charge to victory over Durham in the LV= County Championship has been halted by a downpour.
The players are currently taking lunch with the groundstaff working hard on the outfield which was partially flooded after a torrential downpour.
The umpires have yet to decide on a time for a pitch inspection.
When the rain came Somerset were 168-1 needing just another 80 runs for victory.
Skipper Marcus Trescothick is 103 not out while Johann Myburgh was run out for 55.
