SUNDAY football finally made a return after a lengthy lay off and the divisional cups got under way.

The Keyline Cup, competed by the first division teams, saw Mariners - who have certainly found their feet - produce another high scoring win this time at Churchinford.

The game saw an amazing feat for Mark Oram who scored all six goals in a clinical personal performance.

Old Inn claimed a winning start as they beat Ash Rangers 2-0, a goal either side of half time proved enough for the home team.

In group B, Tone Youth and Bathpool drew 1-1.

Two teams with everything to play for this season produced a good tight game in tough conditions.

James Garad put Bathpool ahead in the first half but a late goal from James Walpole saw the soils shared.

North Curry and Hamilton had to sit out again as the weather got the better of their game.

Division two teams contest the Mike Whitehead Cup, the only game that beat the weather was Watchet versus AEK Taunton.

The home side were favourites and did the tag proud, producing a good 4-0 win.

In the Mike Stewart Cup, White Hart hammered Hardly Athletic 9-0.

Hart were quick out of the blocks and never gave Hardly a sniff - scorers for Albion were Ben Evert and Craig Allen with a hat-trick each, and one each for Paul Porter, Chris McKee, and Sam Bate.

The only league game of the day saw Trinity Rangers spring a big surprise as they beat current leaders DB Old Boys 4-2.

All other Games were called off.
