THE Titans are on the road again this weekend and have the novelty of heading south for a change this weekend when they travel down the A30 to take on Redruth at the renowned Rec and Hell Fire Corner.
With Redruth one place above Taunton in the league but on the same points and with the Titans having a couple of testing fixtures before Christmas the result will surely help whoever wins open the gap on the other.
Redruth are in great form, having only lost three times so far this season. They lost to the top two teams, Chinnor & Old Elthamians, and also to Canterbury at home – the latter their only loss at home.
Last weekend they put in an impressive display, beating Bishops Stortford and denying them any bonus points.
Taunton, however, will go into the game on the back of two wins – the last at home to Henley Hawks – and will be bolstered by the return of Toby East, who is now available for selection if the coaches choose.
Also back in contention to play are back rowers Ben Oliphant-Thompson and Conor Harbison, who were both unavailable last weekend.
However, after a great performance by the back row for the Titans last weekend, they might find it hard to force their way in.
