TAUNTON Town's home match with Wantage Town, due to be played today at 3pm, has been postponed due to the cold weather conditions.
The club tweeted that "due to the pitch starting to re-freeze in places we unfortunately have to call off today's match".

They had earlier hoped that the match could still go ahead, telling fans: "About 5% of pitch is frozen. Have heaters in place to defrost. Not currently concerned as it is warming up."
This means that the Peacocks' next scheduled match is this Tuesday, away to Didcot Town (ko 7.45pm).
Most of today's games in Evo-Stik Southern League Division 1 South & West have also been called off, including Salisbury versus Bridgwater Town - who announced Phil Hucker as manager yesterday.
At present, the rugby match between Taunton Titans and Cinderford at Hyde Park today (ko 3pm) is still set to go ahead.
