TWO members of last season’s Peacocks squad have departed the Viridor Stadium.
Craig Veal ends his second spell at the club, joining Town’s South West Division rivals Bideford after 192 appearances.
The striker scored 16 goals last season, and his exit (after Jordan Rogers’ departure for Tiverton) leaves the Peacocks a little light up front, with Matt Wright and the returning Lewis Powell their only recognised frontmen.
Josh Searle, who has played as a wing-back and wide midfielder, has signed for Western League side Willand Rovers – meaning a potential Peacocks reunion in their friendly meeting on July 28 – after 102 games for Town.
