FOLLOWING their FA Trophy exploits on Saturday, Taunton Town return to Evo-Stik Southern League West duty tonight, with a trip to promotion rivals Bristol Manor Farm (ko 7.45pm).

The Peacocks are on a six-game unbeaten run in the league, and are three points clear at the top of the table.

Bideford are their closest challengers, with Manor Farm a further point back, having made an impressive start to their first season in the division following promotion in the 2016/17 campaign.

They are on a run of four games without defeat, the latest of those being a creditable 1-1 draw at fourth-placed Salisbury.

Tonight's hosts are also the division's joint top scorers, with 42 goals in 17 games, so the Peacocks will need to be on their guard.

They will hope to put in a similar level of performance to that which saw them win 3-0 at Evesham United two weeks ago, and they are boosted by the return of midfielder Ryan Brett, who was suspended for last weekend's game.

Town hold games in hand over all of their rivals at the top, and they will be looking to take a six-point advantage into this Saturday's match away to 13th-placed Larkhall Athletic (ko 3pm).
