Evo-Stik Southern League West
Taunton Town 4, Bishops Cleeve 0
TWO penalties from Dan Sullivan helped Taunton Town ease past basement side Bishops Cleeve, as the Peacocks took another step towards promotion.
Captain Matt Wright headed the hosts into the lead on 18 minutes at the Viridor Stadium, following a Ryan Brett corner that was not properly cleared.
Sullivan then doubled the lead in the 37th minute, scoring from the penalty spot after Wright was sent sprawling.
A second Sullivan penalty, on 47 minutes, after another foul on Wright, meant it was effectively game over.
Mnager Leigh Robinson took the opportunity to rest Wright and Sullivan, with Craig Veal and Les Afful coming on.
Pierce Mitchell put in the icing on the cake, netting on 71 minutes after being found in space by a fine Matt Buse pass, as the Peacocks cruised to the three points.
