TAUNTON Town boss Leigh Robinson is looking for his players to “go flat out” on Saturday against Cirencester Town (ko 3pm), after a welcome midweek break.
The Peacocks’ scheduled match with Wimborne Town was called off on Tuesday due to the pitch being unfit for play.
Robinson said: “Some players needed it, so it came at a good time. We will look to go flat out on Saturday.”
Striker Dan Sullivan returns, but Ollie Chamberlain is suspended after his red card last Saturday, while Ross Staley is available until January 23 before a move to Australia.
Cirencester sit 15th, and Boxing Day hosts Paulton Rovers 18th, but Robinson says there’ll be no complacency from the league leaders: “Ben Whitehead has 16 goals for Cirencester [and] Paulton have players who on their day can hurt us.”
As an Christmas gift to the fans, entry to the Viridor Stadium on Saturday is £5 for adults, £3 concessions, £1 under-19s and free for under-14s as usual.
Season ticket holders can claim a free programme at the club shop with their ticket.
